Women of the ELCA

Women of the ELCA (WELCA) is the women’s ministry of the ELCA. It is separately incorporated and is not an auxiliary of the church. It is financially independent and responsible for its own financial affairs. Financial support comes from individual and group offerings and gifts.

These women are an active, talented group that provides quilts, blankets, hats and more to the local community and beyond. Working with Lutheran World Relief (LWR) this ministry shares their time and talents to create quilts, baby care kits, personal care kits and school kits for children and families in need after a natural disaster or living in a war torn nation.
