Todd was born and raised in New Hampton. He graduated from New Hampton High School and later attended Kirkwood Community College before transferring to the University of Dubuque (UD) to earn a BBA in Business Administration and a BS in Accounting. It was there he met his wife, Katie, and they resided for several years in Dubuque with their twins, Wyatt and Lyla, before moving to Ossian, IA.
Todd worked in accounting and finance for several companies before discerning his call to ministry. He completed his Masters of Divinity in 2021 from Wartburg Theological Seminary and has been the pastor of St. John Nashua since July 2021.

Deacon Jackie Schilling is a TEEM student at Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa. She will complete her studies and be ordained in May 2024.
